Noteworthy Acquires Krieger-Ragsdale's Memo Book Division
Noteworthy is pleased to announce the acquisition of K-R's memo book division. The purchase of technologically advanced equipment combined with hiring of key personnel will allow a portion of K-R's 100 year old product line to continue under new ownership.
According to Chad Majewski, VP of Sales, "With a name like Noteworthy, providing a full line of products for note taking just makes sense. Our distributor friends have already contacted us hoping we would be able to create memo books. Now we can! These flip cover pads are an affordable give-a-way for a variety of industries; real estate, retirement villages, home health care and banks are just a few. I am excited about the new opportunities."
"This is a bitter-sweet acquisition. It is unfortunate to see a long term fixture in our industry succumb to bankruptcy, however, we recognized that the product line was a staple in our industry. These memo books are a natural extension to our paper products and enhance our notepad line," said Carol Constantino, president. "Memo books are pocket sized notebooks with full, four color process covers, they seem to close the gap between our presentation folders and our custom notepads."
Wayne Ballard, VP of Manufacturing, stated, "We anticipate this transition to be easy. The machine should be moved, up and running and ready to take orders within 6 weeks max. We always get excited about new equipment and technology. We are all dedicated to providing top quality products and this will be another great addition to our lineup."
