- How do I buy your products?
- Noteworthy sells promotional products through a network of over 15,000 distributors. If you are interested in our products contact your local promotional products distributor. They can be found in the yellow pages under advertising specialties or promotional products.
- How do I become a Noteworthy distributor?
- Join the Promotional Products Association International or Advertising Specialty Institute. Then fill out and submit our credit application.
- How do I learn about your product line?
- Our website is a great place to start, but if you want more specific information use our request form to ask for promotional materials.
- Are your plastic bags made from recycled material?
- Our plastic products are made with up to 50% recycled content. We are typically above 30% recycled content, but the exact amount varies depending on availability. We also recycle our own process scrap by reusing it internally or sending it to professional scrap recyclers.
- Do you make degradable plastic bags?
- Yes, we will make any white plastic bag using oxo-biodegradable plastic for no extra charge. We’re the only supplier offering a degradable option on all plastic bags, even in low minimums, and at no additional charge.
- Can we apply a stock design to any bag or only the specific size and style shown?
- Until recently you could not. However, our new digital printing technology allows us to reproduce stocks designs on any size and style bag. When ordering a stock design on a non-standard size or style, keep in mind, digital printing prices will apply. To order reference both the stock design # and digital printing part # that you'd desire.
- What are plate charges?
- Plates are used to print custom designs on plastic. Our plates are made from scratch and we charge only for materials used. Charges are $2 (G) per square inch of plate material. You can estimate the charge by using the following formula:
Plate charge = (imprint area) x (number of colors) x $2.00 (G)
Plates are stored for 3 years. During this time, exact reorders do not incur plate charges. Also, when ordering stock designs, you only pay a plate charge for your custom imprint.
- Can you print full color designs on paper bags?
- Yes, we can print anything you desire on a bag.
- Can you make custom paper bag sizes?
- Yes, we manufacture custom size bags. Contact us for a quote.
- What are your most popular paper bags?
- Brown and white kraft twisted paper handle bags. The best selling sizes are 8×4.5×10.25 and 10×5×13.
- What is the difference between high gloss and medium gloss folders?
- High gloss folders are made of a special coated paper stock. Medium gloss folders are coated during the printing process.
- Can you make custom photo holder sizes?
- Yes, we manufacture custom size photo holders. Contact us for a quote.
- Can you make custom folder sizes and styles?
- Yes, we manufacture custom folders styles and sizes. Contact us for a quote.
- Can you match PMS colors?
- Yes, we will match any PMS color at no charge.
- Can you print on both sides?
- Yes, contact us for a quote if you want printing on both sides.
- Is there a change of imprint charge?
- Imprint changes are free, but there is a 100 piece minimum for every imprint.
- What ingredients do you use to make degradable bags?
- We use an oxo-biodegradable additive. The additive is blended into our plastic during the extrusion process.
- Are oxo-biodegradable plastic bags recyclable?
- Yes, oxo-biodegradable plastic bags are recyclable provided they have not degraded substantially.
- Do oxo-biodegradable plastic bags feel different?
- No, you will not notice a difference between oxo-biodegradable and regular plastic bags.
- What is the shelf life for you degradable plastic bags?
- It takes about 2 years of exposure to one or more degradation promoters (sunlight, heat, microorganisms) for our bags to degrade. If the bags are kept inside they will receive minimal or no exposure and will last much longer. It’s likely they will remain usable for 5+ years if stored inside. You can think of them like paper bags. You don’t see a paper bag degrade in your house, but when they become litter they degrade at a much faster rate.
- What is production ready artwork?
- Production ready artwork is usable without being modified by our artwork department.
- What if my artwork is not production ready?
- We fix artwork for free. If your artwork is not production ready we will fix it quickly and without charge.
- What formats will you accept artwork in?
- We accept artwork in any format. Just keep in mind, your order may be delayed if you deviate from our artwork guidelines.
- Can I see a proof of my product before production begins?
- Yes, proofs are available at the following costs:
- Email & fax proofs: $10.00 (net)
- Digital color proofs: $30.00 (net)
- Press proofs: $200.00 (net) plus plate costs
